To support the further growth of Octopus Accountancy Software we are looking for a:

Sales Development Manager / Customer Acquisition Manager (m/f) - Walloon Region

• After a roll-in period, you prospect the professional market (accountants) of the Walloon Region.
• You set up quality leads in a structured approach, moving from one area to another.
• You do cold calling, introduction meetings, provide demos, and organize small events.
• You are able to set up a training session for the employees of a specific accounting company.
• You are motivated, have an eye for details, are a good listener, and you are able to provide real customer solutions.
• You are used to doing sales both offline and online, and are at ease with different sales tools and working together with a Marketing Team.

• You are a born sales person with a proven track record in either software products and/or accountancy/finance-related services.
• You have some understanding of the accounting world in the Walloon area, interest in it is mandatory.
• You have proven experience with lead management.
• You have understanding of accounting processes - or - are prepared to do a real, real deep dive.
• You are a charismatic person with excellent communication skills - you like speaking in public, you radiate positivism.
• You are a born networker and you are very active on LinkedIn.
• Your mother language is French - it would be great if you speak other languages such as Dutch and/or Engish, but we as a company will happily adapt andfacilitate you if you speak only French (your sales skills are much, much more important!).
• You are a born storyteller, but at the same time you are a great listener.
• You are detailed, have a growth mindset, and you like to learn.
